ACROSS THIS GREAT LANDSCAPE

July 01, 2008 - Now that North Korea is out of the way, Our government starts with Iran. We are already working on Pakistan with our ground forces. Let’s take a look at the past and bring it all forward in what we read in today’s news. The election is dulling our senses and keeps us off balance from realizing our vulnerability to this issue. I know “IT” will be in the Middle East and so my question is: Will it begin ...when? This is not a political issue and it isn’t up for debate?
“On May 30,1998, Pakistan concluded it's nuclear test blasts that will only now force surrounding nations to do the same. Pakistan's nuclear blast was a 18 kiloton device, which was about the same force of the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima in World War II, yet U.S. Intelligent sources said the device was closer to 2 kilotons.”
“Iran announced several years ago, the success of a military strategic missile test and declared it's ready for any attack from a hostile threat. The Iranian media reported that the missile was more advanced than the Shahab-3 missile. This new missile has the range to reach targets such Israel and stationed American forces in The Middle East. In Iran warned European governments they might regret pandering to Tehran's arch foe, America, by submitting a strongly critical draft resolution on Iran's nuclear program to the UN watchdog. Is Iran is able to make nuclear weapons today?, A growing number of nuclear experts worry that there may be no way to stop it from becoming the world's 10th nuclear weapons state. Russia and Iran finished construction of the nuclear reactor in the Iranian city of Bushehr, launched in 2005, an atomic power plant in the Islamic Republic, a project the United States fears Tehran could use to make nuclear arms. Iran says it will reject any proposal for a complete halt to such activities.” Iran repeated it had a "right" to master the sensitive nuclear fuel cycle, ahead of an expected proposal from Europe calling for Tehran to abandon such work in exchange for diplomatic and trade incentives.” What European proposals if any has Iran received? Has Iran gained the "option" of developing nuclear arms or already has them?
“The current crisis in the Middle East may lead to a nuclear exchange between Israel and Iran. China & Russia are business allies of Iran in numerous oil contracts. The nuclear reactor in Iran was built using Russian technology and China's exploding economy relies on Iranian oil. Both countries, as well as North Korea may have helped Iran achieve their nuclear ambitions in a shorter time frame by supplying Iran with more nuclear technology. Both sides of the current Middle East crisis have accused the other of accepting weapons from a foreign power and both accusations are true. Iran is supplying weapons to Syria. Once one side of this Middle East Conflict begins using biological weapons against Israel, Israel will no doubt launch it's nuclear arsenal against Iran which could trigger a global thermonuclear war.”
Who do we want as President of the United States? One who will disarm us completely as he has told us by his words on live video or a man who has a sense of duty not to? Was the B52 carrying nuclear warheads that disembarked on August 30, 2007, from Minot, North Dakota, ordered, and then was told to stand down by the President and eventually landed in Louisiana for refueling to get back to base after cris-crossing the ocean? This would have definitely sent a message to North Korea and others. Then came the spin of this story which was planted in the media? “Wag The Dog” remember?
June 28/29, 2008 - weekend report - Obama masks himself as a peace candidate, but his background suggests he is really a son of war. He tries too hard to carry the "White Man's Burden," proudly. He may well be the person that carries us as a nation into a suicidal conflict. With relish, we must reject him. His “O bomb-em” comment over Pakistan a few weeks ago, is not far from the truth. Obama seems to be the most protected person in the world, yet, remember, “light overcomes darkness.”
We must not allow our doubt, self imposed hatreds and distrust of this country to cloud our understanding of the global political economy, what is and what will be, the impact on the people of America. An old man once said that "it is a skill game and a fool can't play it". When and if Obama gets elected, soon, “rap will die out and education will be cool.” America must still be a beacon of liberty, freedom and democracy as “We the people,” who are referred to as their constitutional “right to bear arms,” was called, “lunacy” yesterday by the liberals. Most liberals are never happy. They want to spend your money that is in your pocket and vacation in Canada, telling us all the while how grand it is to live there. Well ...pack your bags and leave. No?
Obama said he's tired of folks blaming illegal aliens for the loss of jobs in America, characterizing the claim of loss of jobs in the inner cities to immigrants as “scapegoat-ing.” Listening to this should make you laugh, since it is a known fact Americans have been losing jobs to illegal Mexicans, not Poles, Germans, Scandinavians, etc., but Mexicans, and not because Americans won't work, but because “these” illegal aliens will work for less pay. Is Obama too high in his ivory tower to know American communities are suffering from the effects of illegal immigration? Illegal Mexicans, continue to have a negligible effect on Americans and our economy. One thing's for sure, over four million illegal Mexicans will continue to pour across our borders and reduce wages for the middle class American worker. I don’t care how high or how long the “Tortilla Curtain” (fence) is, both the Democratic and Republican parties support an open borders policy. Obama said "Illegals don't come here to drive, they come here to work." What an irrational thing to say, considering once you give illegal Mexican’s drivers licenses, then employers can insure illegal Mexican delivery drivers, so then they can take American delivery/ semi-truck drivers pay checks out of their mouths.
Hillary characterized the situation as, "What people want, what people accept and what is politically acceptable" is at the heart of the issues that matter to us the most. We the people are the ones who will always have to do the real work. There is no President who can do it for us. A President can only make it easier or make it harder. Hello W! Is anybody home?
American people love to be lied to, they just don't want to know what they have been lied to about. Throughout the Democratic party, nothing is exactly being presented to the American people that they as a whole can take grasp of. I mean the Democrats conversations consistently breach a noise level that says, "Help is not on the way, and that you and I as a people must dig in and hold on tight! Oh, by the way ...so on and so forth.
June 26, 2008 - Most of us my age got their political affiliation the same place we got our religion ...from our parents. Although I have changed my mind a couple of times on both subjects.
Yet there is so much to know about Barack Obama, for he just shoots out of nowhere. The fact that he is so close to being someone mysterious and puzzling, is one thing that may give us all pause to collect all the facts about him, and where he really stands.
The frenzy we have about him is scary. Germany had the same frenzy about Hitler in the 1930s. There were contradictory signs about Adolph, but the Germans ignored them, for Hitler too played on the very basic nerve that appealed to the Germans at that time: restoration of German pride after its defeat in WW I.
Obama has contradictions written all over him and is also playing with our deepest need: the restoration of American pride at the time of our morale and economic hardships, both at home and in the world stage. Candidates like him play more with generalities, with so much to be desired for in terms of specifics. The popular media has lavished him with so much accommodation, but it is us, not the media, who will live with our choices in November 2008. It is us, not the media, that will choose the next President of the United States. May we use more of our minds, and less of our emotions or feelings. An American thinker said, "There is madness in crowds from which even the wisest, caught up, in their ranks, are not immune."
While McCain is not my choice for President, I believe John McCain at least cares for the Constitution and would uphold it. The other one would throw it out. As for the charge by the Demos that Republican aristocracy is destroying the American dream, pork barrel spending by the Democrats has also wiped out a lot of American dreams. Now if you think the American dream means "let me see what I can do for me with your money," then the Marxist Democrats are the way for you. However, let me suggest that you go to Russia, China, Iran that already does it your way.
Even though John McCain has the best voting record of all candidates on free trade, please do not put your faith in any president to fix the economy. It is far too complex for any one person to manage. The best way to fix it is to keep the government out of it. Maybe John McCain isn’t the smartest guy on the block, but he knows something about duty. Not even Obama can promise bringing the troops home his first day in office. He would leave a bigger mess than what it was when we started. McCain knows duty and understands the word, Obama does not have a sense of duty.
And finally ...a real American would rely on his or her own ability to "protect and serve" his community and country which the constitution gives you the ability to do, but because of this kind of fear that permeates the air we breathe, fear of the "unknown" we cower behind the police or our tough talking president. Americans are like the little kid who hides behind the biggest bully in school for protection. But now, the big kid is about to get his ass kicked and what does America do? When the going gets tough the tough get going. When, just when, is this country going to stand up and fight? We have practiced F-L-I-G-H-T so long that we don't know what else to do but to look for the next biggest thing ...Obama mania! And, that is given to us by this opportunistic politician who plays to that tendency of flight. We don't like the truth and we hate obstacles because we have to understand something about our “perfect” selves. Americans ...you can love them or leave the country.
June 24, 2008 - The next President of the United States? Senator Hope and Change? Flawless? I don’t think so. "If I am the Democratic nominee, I will aggressively pursue an agreement with the Republican nominee to preserve a publicly financed general election." Of course, Sen. McCain is taking public financing. This can get confusing, what with the conventional idea about Obama wanting to turn away from the "old ways of Washington." So, agreeing to submit to the limitations of public financing, as done by candidates for decades, is but the regrettable political practice of saying one thing and doing another is not some "change, "huh?" Even the late Tim Russert referred to this and asked Obama if he would go back on his word!
Now if you say anything about Barack’s inexperience, you are a “typical white person.” Well after we paint him as inexperienced, which he is. Elitist, which he is. Liberal, which he is. Out of touch, which he is. We seem to have enough ammo to also paint him as a racist, which he is. Words do matter. And he fails this test over and over with the American people. This junior Senator played this race card on a national stage and he has to answer for it just as much as President Bush has to answer for the entrance into Iraq, maybe even more so for Obama when it comes to these Black and White issues. I don't think funny is the right word for "Hussein". I am not bashing Obama gleefully. It’s pathetic the way I have had to approach this candidate ...of change.
What he does have is a good crap and blue sky speech and the race card to fall back on. Diversity, green space, ethnicities, eclectic, communal living, everyone agrees or else, just one big love in. Here is the political fallout for this young man. “Obama, rather than running as a strong leader, is running as a victim and most of his positions on the issues reflect his sense of resignation and reliance on others to make necessary decisions.” Hello Hillary where are you?!
This man is running for the Presidency of the United States. It seems fair and proper that the public knows his birth history and pedigree. Hawaii or Kenya? Somebody out there substantiate it for me will you? All Obama can do is criticize and steal ideas when there's one he likes. He said he was for the 300 mile car battery before McCain thought of it. You see at least McCain has a energy plan. Oh, don’t worry. Obama will have an energy plan - just as soon as someone thinks one up for him. Obama’s plan at the moment? His plan is to let us freeze in the dark next winter.
June 23, 2008 - Nobody's saying Obama is not black. We're asking, Black, “is that all there is?” As in Peggy Lee’s song, “Oh, no, not me. I'm in no hurry for that final disappointment, is that all there is,” or is this “another spook knocking down a door.” The White House door at that. This is a Negro raised up to putting us all down in America?
Anyone thinking that Obama's very presence will make those brother's want to get off the drug corner, or out of prison, while all those sister's will want to to stop receiving their food stamps each month, these troubled men and women would still have to deal with the reality of racism preventing them from being adequately educated, promoted, getting fair loan terms, in order for them to be like Barack Obama. Obama cannot make your children be Obama-like because if truth be told, Obama is not even Obama-Like. Obama is the fairy-tale Black-Not-Really-Black candidate for Whites and considering all he has done to avoid Black issues and progressive issues can only end up as Black Folks worst nightmare. “Barry” can not help you no matter what he says that is “unfair” about the incarceration of black men in jails and prisons. Blacks commit 7 times more felony crimes over Whites and Hispanics since 2005.
Too many African-Americans have consistently failed to learn one of the most important lesson about politicians. Obama, not unlike John McCain, do not reward those that show them adulation without demands but reward those that present demands with the threat of putting a foot on the politicians neck if they fail to reward them for votes and money received such as the White supporters of Obama. Blacks remain on the bottom of American society, but it has been their choice, yet, not all however. If Obama, once he is in place, can not make fundamental changes to the “Washington system”, the Black man’s vision is illusional at best and white folks will look for a better day. The one line that plagues Barack Obama’s campaign from the very beginning of his authored books to today, as in his oratory “wisdom” given in speeches, is this, “You can't get respect through somebody else's shine; you have to get it from your own.”
Is Barack Obama looking down at his own people with contempt? I think so. Obama is going to be the next President of the U.S., but it's not going to be because he won’t receive the popular vote, but that somehow he is being “selected” around the world, and because of this adulation, his selection of Hillary Clinton, is for the same reason to be his vice-president ...which she will be.
The black person feels that if a White man is treacherous and soulless, only because of their fear of whites, a toadying Negro, is beyond description. This guy plays possum until he gets into the White House with Clinton advisors and is going to be the worst thing that EVER happened to freedom, justice, Black or White. Who in the hell is going to vote for him is the question and why he needs Hillary? Because white women are pissed off after Hillary lost the nomination. White men certainly aren’t voting for him unless they are gay or in the Obama loop. And there aren't that many black people in the U.S. and Brazil put together, to put this guy in the White House ...without her.
June 21/22, 2008 weekend report - The stigma of Katrina. (gas prices shot to $3.00 dollars a gallon overnight. It was no accident.) Bush: I hear you Iowans! I’m listening! I am from the government and I am here to help! "I really did want again to congratulate the local folks for showing great compassion, working hard, hugging people and giving people hope," he said.
Mr. President you got a whole lot of hugging to do on your own just in America. ‘Cause meanwhile Barack Obama is down in Quincy, Illinois filling sand bags to help the flood victims there. I said he was filling sandbags. It’s the kind of things people remember. You see the folks in Cedar Rapids, Iowa have said, “if you couldn’t give New Orleans a helping hand Mr. President what good is a hug in Iowa?”
George Bush has to answer for the gas prices and for the Gull Island oil reserves in Alaska and why we have not tapped these oil fields which are on America’s soil. “Was the recent increase in the price of oil and natural gas orchestrated by OPEC, the oil cartel, and the Bush administration to: Promote conservation, increase profits, lower our standard of living, destroy our economy and impoverish the American people?” No other President I can remember in modern times has to answer for so much to the American people.
When the cartel began raising the price of oil, the Bush administration continued purchasing petroleum for the Strategic Oil Reserve which increased the price of oil. The President was asked to suspend purchases until the price stabilized, but he refused, and many Americans will pay 35% of their take-home pay on energy come another winter. Remember when the oil price surged to $70 a barrel, the Bush administration released oil from the Strategic Reserve and the price fell to $60 a barrel, which was reported by the Washington Post? The oil shortage is contrived isn’t it Mr. President? The Gull Island oil find is even larger than the Prudhoe Bay field, which is presently producing more that two million barrels of oil every twenty-four hours." In fact it has been said that is bigger than Saudi Arabia?”
The United States is the richest country in the world. If the “hierarchy of the world” is going to "promote the equitable distribution of wealth ...among nations, how will they accomplish that goal? They will transfer American jobs, American factories, and American wealth to third-world countries. We have entered a period that will try men's souls. The U.S. is fighting a war on two fronts, effective treatments for cancer and heart disease are being suppressed, 200,000 - 300,000 Gulf War I veterans are ill, one in six American children has a neurodevelopment or behavioral abnormality, the incidence of cancer, diabetes, heart disease, and Alzheimer's disease is increasing, and the standard of living of the American people is declining. Are those things happening by accident?” I think not Mr. President.
Oil manipulation, gouging the American taxpayer and your refusal to tell the American people the truth about Gull island Oil reserves that are now capped, is a sham. You can not avoid the inevitable Mr. Bush. You may think that by keeping this a secret it will allow America to continue the war. As President you have to explain this in detail without placing John McCain in an absolute no win situation in November. Gas prices rising, truckers who transport American goods are not getting a break either which by it self is totally unbelievable. Airlines have complained for three decades and still are losing money and now they want to use fuel prices as another excuse to add a dollar to your ticket every time you put your seat in the upright position and your tray down.
Stop visiting other countries in trying to conclude some sort of vacation for your ending presidency. Don’t visit flood victims or those small towns. You need to get on television and tell the American people all is well for oil supply for America for the next 200 years? I guarantee you if you don’t the Republican Party will not see the White House for a long, long time over this one issue. I remember the gas lines of Jimmy Carter’s administration. He may have been a nice man but he was a lousy president. Take heed Barack Obama.
June 18, 2008 - Same sex marriage with adopted children is a home that is shrouded in secrecy, conflict, confusion and abuse! Kids in these homes have reported for the world to read about are made to doubt their own sexuality because they are looking at their parent's example. How can a young boy or girl have their sexuality validated when homosexual fathers are bringing into the home multiple male partners?
Like Oscar Wilde's signature carnation, green is a good deal more festive. However, more than anyone, Wilde, who is often appropriated by the gay community, would have found insulting the attempt to define the Self in terms of sexual preference. After all, the great wit’s most favorite organ was still his brain.
Sexually education books being produced in sex-Ed classes for sixth graders one can sense some attempt at adopting a child’s perspective. These books try to speak to differences. The only hint of the same-sex addle is that the two mothers are the ones who strategically dispense the nuggets of wisdom. If I wanted to be difficult I might ask why “mama” teaches poor chubby “daddy” Belinda to chant, "My body belongs to me," every time someone comments about her weight. Wouldn’t, “mind your own business," or, "you’re no oil painting," have been more effective? But one can’t hope to divine every bit of feminist affectation. The themes of adult selfishness, divorce, and same-sex union converge in "Daddy's Roommate" published by Alyson Wonderland publications, this story is particularly sad. The little narrator here has no name! This isn't surprising, since children in these books exist only to affirm their same sex parents.
Parents have just divorced as an example in same sex orientated books. With nary a reference to the sadness of this event, the child blurts out; "Now there's somebody new at Daddy's house. Daddy and his roommate Frank live together, work together, eat together, sleep together." From here on in it's pretty much "Brown Dad Blue Dads" another disgusting book for the Public schools all over again, detailing the good times a dwarfed child spends with the two larger-than-life men. Mommy, like the child, is a conduit in the service of the men's outing. She tells no-name boy that Daddy and Frank are gay and that "being gay is just another kind of love."
Hey Daddy and Frank figured out some time ago that marriage, the “straight life” is harder than “it” looks. “Why no, Johnny, you don’t have to have a man and a woman to get married — in fact, two daddies are often better at raising children than a real female mommy and a real male daddy. When you are old enough, we will tell you all you need to know so we can support you if you have a gay or transgender orientation. Did you know that being gay is a one of God’s gifts for special people?” I want to throw up!
We need to find ONE STATE where pedophiles, gays, transvestites, homosexuals and other forms of these DEVIATES can go, and live happily ever after. And take those gay judges with you.
June 16, 2008 - Our Political Correctness, and all of our civil rights were called into question by United States Supreme Court because the new green Left and the American Press is shouting to have a clean, lawful, honorable war. However, no matter how intellectual you are, none of these words apply to war. Get them out of your head.
Compare this with some of our press and politicians, who for several days have thought and talked about nothing else but the "humiliating" of some Muslim prisoners at Gitmo -- not burning them, not dragging their charred corpses through the streets, not beheading them, but "humiliating" them. Can this be for real? Islamist rule is in effect, Hamas in the Gaza strip. A small reminder they only need a foothold. France, Spain, Greece, Denmark ...and in America where private charter schools in the Midwest are allowing Muslims to use taxpayer dollars so they can continue their hate and religion on a daily basis and call it school. How about Islamberg in the Catskills of New York? If Timothy McVeigh can get swift justice for the bombing in Oklahoma City, Khalid Shaikh Mohamed, the self proclaimed architect of the 911 attacks needs to be hung from the highest scaffold, martyr or not. This is the rag-head who claims personally he beheaded Daniel Pearl.
Saudi Arabia announces that increase of oil production will start up in July and increase in August. The Kingdom’s oil minister has said that the current price of oil which topped at $139 a barrel earlier this month is not normal. “The king believes that the current oil prices are abnormally high and he is ready to restore prices to their appropriate levels.” President Bush’s visit of begging may have paid off. It has not been one of his best sides to eat humble pie. He has been deemed “as just another fella stepping up to the microphone” in this presidential election. But don’t you believe it. Iran is on his plate and Israel isn’t going to wait either. The Israeli Parliament may decide to give up the Golan Heights to appease Syria, but the Iranian people need to speak loudly against “their nut” running the country or it is going to be reduced to rubble.
You are not going to solve issues surrounding the war or the economy by being a presidential candidate that thinks if he sets up forums and discussion groups in little towns is going to make a difference one way or another. It doesn’t amount to a hill of beans. It smacks of passivity. This is where McCain and Obama differ. Opposite sides of a well traveled road. One is the ‘old warrior” on the national stage but is still floundering as to what he is going to say next and the other junior delegate is reminiscing about his Chicago days by deep rooting the country with his style of open collar shirt sitting on a metal chair, in some mildew gymnasium. “I knows we can get out the black vote.” And I loved Amos and Andy.
The stage has been set. Age will play no factor in this race except to disrespectful teenagers and 16-24 age group who can’t get a job. If McCain can advance on the Democratic platform alongside his beautiful rich trophy wife and show that he is still the maverick that can not be roped or branded; saying to hell with the Right on a platform that is broken, and represent the ‘We, the all inclusive people”, recognizing that Americans want their President to care about them, not talk down on them like this last eight years; will make Americans first over the war or any other political issue and do it all in Minnesota at the RNC, then in comparison to Jesse Ventura, former governor of Minnesota, McCain will also look like a genius. Mr. McCain needs to stop reading off the monitors and speak directly to the people. Lieberman comes to mind. Yes Lieberman Mr. Obama, this campaign is not going to be civil in tone.
June 14/15 weekend report - “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” (John 15:13). Down through the passage of time there have been those who have known what it is to do this. American soldiers in combat understand it and many have done so for their comrades in arms.
This commentary is dedicated to the young hiker who dug a hole in 70-mph winds of a freak June blizzard yesterday, laid down in the snow on Mount Rainier in the state of Washington allowing his wife and close friend to lie on top of him to keep warm, they survived. He died in the night of hypothermia. Greater love hath no man than this ...we could use a little of this in politics, in the church and in the home.
Let’s be very specific. Politicians come out in this election all tensed up. They are centered in on themselves and everything radiates out of that center. Let your attitude, frame of mind and experiential flow be such that those who meet you will learn by that association that you are not one of those demanding persons who must have eye for an eye, tooth for tooth, exact rights for everything.
In Obama’s case with his new website fighting smears, it’s tit for tat. It won’t help his campaign as it just fuels the wrong sentiments towards his candidacy and his family. Lack of this moderation quality breaks up home life. Somebody tries to be nice to you after they have done something to you. You want the fight to cease yet you are determined that the other person needs to apologize for every item in the battle that was fought, line by line. Jot upon jot. Tittle by tittle. I am going to have my due shouts Obama through his website as I refuse to go on and allow myself not being fully understood! Barack Obama can grind away and gnash his teeth and grieve God’s Spirit and sour his spirit because he wants his due. After all the bloggers have wronged me! Tough. I mean after all he is a Christian? Go close the door and somewhere in your closet, cease to be demanding in your nature and focus your mind not on what is your due but on the coming of God in your life. It’s so practical, that your anxieties suffer from being unspectacular. Look what they did to me! Tough. It doesn’t matter what they did to you! They spit on Jesus, they drove spikes in His hands, they pulled His beard from His face, they drove a spear in His side and while he was dying He said, “Father, forgive them.”
For the hiker who gave his life on Mount Rainier, he turned down everything in this world to give his life and die so that the will of God might be accomplished in his life. He died for them to live, “that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves.” The roughness of Mount Rainier spoke eloquently that the choice this hiker made was not an easy one but that’s the path of God’s will.
June 12, 2008 - “We are all the same people, all of us”, is their cry. Yet the division between homosexuals and heterosexuals, the divide has widen and deepened. Here’s what they don’t understand. There is much love and commitment in the world that we can afford to be contemptuous of some portion of it? Yes we can and we will. You see if two women in hot pants want to hold hands in front of their families and friends in their backyard and vow to love one another until they die, the only response to that is happy tears, awed admiration and societal approval. If they want to change the laws of California or any other state so that gay marriage is no longer deemed between a man and woman, then we will go to the mats. It is not the response everywhere that approves of gay marriage that will depend on heterosexual unions for family status. I can keep on repeating this as long as there are ears to listen. No approval, no appliances for homosexuals, because the opposition is not aging out, as they seem to think.
The California Supreme court called gay marriage a civil right. May very well be but it does not have the status of a heterosexual marriage. There is nothing ordinary about a homosexual’s life. Judges making law from the bench instead of the proclamation of the people’s will, lack integrity. It’s lot easier for these judges to promise something in the short run than to give it in the long run. You see these judges made a vow, a commitment to uphold the laws of the land. But they have failed miserably for their lack once again of integrity. These are men who put their hand on the Bible and swore allegiance to be protectors of the law.
Families down through the ages have been married in the church, where God does His part but we fail to keep ours. If Christian marriages would just one-half fulfill past commitments made to God the church would revolutionize the world in this matter of homosexuality. We wanted things from God, when we made commitments. God responded and then we started equivocating saying, “God didn’t really mean this?” Much like Eve said to Adam in the garden when she presented the apple.
Homosexuals are rejected children of the desert in the Old Testament who tuned out the most essential ingredients of God’s message to them, sacrifice and truth. What you meet at Cavalry where God’s fulness is revealed is, you meet sacrifice and you meet integrity. You also meet love, but it’s love expressed in sacrifice, the sacrifice of God offers as a pathway to Himself. It is love expressed to homosexuals in integrity which made God’s sacrifice necessary because He said, “for sin comes death.” Rather than go back on the statement, He paid the price of bearing the penalty for sin himself.
God’s sacrifice and God’s integrity is in full view of Cavalry. That’s why God will continue to tune in on homosexual lives and their movement in the world. Christianity is not for the namby-pamby. The milk toast doctrine spewed from the mouths of Gay Episcopalian bishops, gay or non-gay judges on the bench, gay teachers and lawyers that have gathered the multitudes in America by their side, will not listen to the truth of the Cross, even though it is exemplified in many of their kind. They have all left the message and death is at their doorstep except for a handful. There is a price attached to serving God once you make a vow. God will respond to it if you do. Homosexuals are not just ready to sin, they compound the problem by convincing themselves and others that their sin is not sin at all. The root of sin is that each of us wants our own way and for God’s approval. It will never happen and most all will pay a price.
June 10, 2008 - Private homosexual behavior is between those who practice it and God. That goes for Episcopalian Bishops, Catholic priests or any other homosexual teacher of the world. Yet public homosexual behavior (Gay Pride Day,etc) like inappropriate heterosexual behavior is between those who practice it and the rest of us that do not subscribe to it. So called God’s chosen ones in the pulpit surely must know homosexuals must recruit, as they cannot reproduce, sexually. They depend on heterosexual unions for "family" status. This is totally what God calls disobedience in a very righteous manner.
God throughout His word in Scripture does not promote homosexuality, God does not propagate homosexuality, nor has God participated in homosexuality, and therefore God will not vindicate homosexuality. Again, we have men of the cloth that says He does support them as homosexuals through His love. These are homosexual men who believe because we sing hymns to God on Sunday morning, read His word, worship Him, and commit ourselves to His path that God is going to be so excited on His throne, that He will pour nothing but honey and sugar over us for the next six days. This is not the truth. The church is a people that belongs to the Lord, committed to His ways. If you commit yourself to God’s ways, it will cost you something. What I am is what I communicate to others and especially as parents to my children in the home. A five year old knows by your actions what are prior with you, the newspaper or God’s Word. Using a newspaper is an example, but I could have used fishing gear, golf clubs or bridge games. It’s what I do that I impart to others, not what I say.
Sexually oriented individuals who clearly want a seat at the throne with God, leaders, “pillars” of the church, have not the motivation nor the knowledge that God loved us so much that, “while we were yet sinners”, He gave His Son, His best, for us. These are men and women of the so-called church, who clearly miss the essential ingredient of the Gospel, the element of sacrifice. You never receive anything for nothing. Every great hero of the Bible paid a great price to have a place with God. I am wondering if the modern day shepherds basking in sin, would like to have such a place as the disciples had, their names in the foundation stones of the eternal city of God? This is the eternal city depicted in Revelation literally of the ultimate temple which God is building of lives inhabited by His Spirit. The foundation stones are the disciples. Well, they paid a price for it! All twelve of them experienced beatings, stoned to death, dragged their bodies through the streets, hangings, crucified upside down on a pin-wheel like Saint Peter.
Children do not have a spiritual maturity yet and therefore rely on a parent’s attitude about church including homosexuality in the church and the price you pay as parents to establish a sacrifice frame of reference regarding these choices in life. It is a daily “price paying” sermon which you preach to your children. The Bible says (God) gave some; some apostles, some bishops, some priests, some pastors and teachers ...for the perfecting of the saints.” The whole homosexual movement, Episcopalian Bishops and Catholic priests you read about in the newspapers, they are clearly not them. But they too shall pay a price. The problem is, so will an entire nation suffer for condoning homosexuality.
June 07/08, 2008 weekend report - Obama is the democratic candidate for president. But real republicans can now ask the states of Michigan and Florida to vote McCain 2009. Obama said, I quote, “you were merely voting in a beauty contest,” which means your votes mean nothing to him nor the democratic party. He threw you all away for his own personal gain, the republican party full of businessmen not lawyers, will not. Nor did the republican party strip those voters because they voted too early. Say what you will, the republican party did not punished the voter for their right to choose a president for their own country.
McCain is right on with his assessment of the everglades support he could not give or vote for, because of the earmarks laid out by Obama’s party included in that bill. Although funding did occur only after Congress’s override of Bush’s veto. Earmarks need to be investigated by Congress where 60 billion dollars went into the pockets of representatives in both houses of Congress as well as family members through decisive manipulation of documents hiding their names and how those secret “trust” funds were distributed. Gasoline price gouging is the next thing Congress must investigate to hold down manipulation and racketeering at the gas pump across the country. Somebody is going to jail. My guess, gas station owners and more politicians than ever before.
We are about to all have a ring side seat as to the true character of Barack Obama. The ugly side of this person is about to break the skin. Strap yourself in. Today it may be "cool" to support the black man because he is black, not because of anything of substance. After all, we must show the world how liberal and accommodating we are? I'm not that liberal. I want results, nothing less will do. Obama is good at lying. He lied in a smart way so that no one can notice it. He lied when he said that the Clinton campaign would use divisive campaign tactics to pit Blacks against Jews. He planted it by saying the information he received was from high up in the Clinton machine. He was wrong, his campaign leaked it. Obama plagiarized everything from words on a best selling book to stealing Hillary’s healthcare proposal. And that is no lie!
We are at war which places John McCain in the driver’s seat, like it or not. McCain at least will not sell us out. Senator Barack Obama will sacrifice our national security. Obama voted to increase taxes when he opposed a package of business breaks that included the extension of middle-class provisions. Senator Obama is the quickest off the blocks to retreat from America’s global conflicts around the world and it becomes more clear to those of us who read and do the research, profoundly accurate that he will raise taxes on working America. All that is needed for Barack Hussein Obama to do so is to reach a political consensus with his peers to strike the blow that Hillary uttered in her campaign to American voters, I quote, “ "We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good." What we need from newspapers is good old fashion bulldog reporting to dig this stuff up and expose “it” for what “it” is ...and what Barack Hussein Obama truly represents where America, America’s families, American military lives, are at stake. Semper Fidelis!
June 03, 2008 - The first remarks in the first newspaper I picked up this morning was that a black man is now nominee of his party and that its about time “since America was 232 years old and was built on the blood and sweat of African Americans.” Fast forward to the nominee’s speech In Minnesota last night, where he said, “this party would not use religion as a wedge or patriotism as a bludgeon.” The liberal left are agnostics and what price glory means to them? My question is “how should a House Negro slave behave? Are we to believe that Barack Obama is a successor to the house slaves of old? Could one become president of the United States? What about the political heirs to the Field Slaves? And where would one find the Big House in the modern era? Barack Obama's efforts to enter the biggest of big houses in American politics, has allowed us to see in the clearest way possible that the price of access is doing whatever it takes to make white people like you." Where does "house" end and "field" begin?”
The mysticism and illusionary figure of Barack Obama must stand the test of time. Religion is something you do, christianity is someone you become. This too, has stood the test of time. “Those who fought at the Alamo” is as basic as you can get about patriotism, has stood the test of time. Great oratory skills no matter how succinct the words are in the voice have not. Barack’s opening statement about his “typical” white grandmother left behind in Hawaii, says this. “Let me convince the White Race that you are safe with me I am not like those other blacks.”
Barack Obama’s approach is no more like Lincoln and is becoming more like Stephen Douglas whom Lincoln ultimately defeated. “Douglas argued that the people of the territory should decide the slavery question by themselves, and that soil and climate made the territory unsuitable for plantations; which last reassured his northern supporters it would remain free. Douglas defended his doctrine of popular sovereignty as a means of promoting democracy and removing the slavery issue from national politics, lest it threaten to rip the nation apart, but it had exactly the opposite effect. Much of the debate was about the redefinition of being a Republican. Lincoln advocated equality of opportunity, arguing that individuals and society advanced together. Douglas, like Obama, on the other hand, embraced a democratic doctrine that emphasized equality of all citizens (only whites were citizens), in which individual merit and social mobility was not a main goal.”
"Merely becoming a resident of the big house does not transform the new occupant into the master." Obama wants to nail big corporations, pharmaceuticals, insurance companies, to make sure there is a chicken in every pot and a mini car in every garage. He wants to transform the idea of American soldiers coming home and leaving America unprotected at its borders. 4,000 of our American men and women have lost their lives, what about them? Who answers for them?
McCain has been called out and must do more not to just look presidential, but be presidential. His little snicker of a smile almost a grunt after saying something cute about “any change Obama might make” in New Orleans last night, is reprehensible. $1,250 dollars a month payment for health insurance for those with brain surgery operated on 8 years ago as an example, and McCain’s intolerable understanding of the necessity of increasing benefits of the G. I Bill, along with his hug and hand shakes with the President in recent days, are just a few issues he faces that are going to be tough to overcome. He wants to be portrayed as a maverick of his former self, yet tugs the coattails of GW, who as President has been oblivious to American’s concern of the economy while a war is going on in two countries. This current sitting president’s legacy will be that he could not bring this country together in the aftermath of 911, Katrina, Middle East peace, begging for oil with our enemies, and when GW spoke, reducing us to look cheap, spoiled and a third rate country. Senator McCain better come with his game face on, because he has an uphill battle with Barry, the oratorian. My case for Mitt Romney still makes sense for McCain’s candidacy and only then will the Republican Party have the remotest chance of regaining the White House. Even Pawlenty now, could never deliver Minnesota to the House “Jack” built. Not after Obama’s exhibition last night. Yet ...”We, the People”, are not looking for a master from the field but a statesman representing “hallowed” ground.
June 02, 2008 - Barack Barry Hussein Obama is a candidate for the Presidency of the United States. These mouthful of words are as contrary as the speech he gave to the country from a man who continually defends himself against attacks and calls it “divisive rhetoric.” I can assure the junior Senator that what the Republicans plan to throw at him won’t be Hillary once her thighness vacates. John McCain doesn’t even need to be in the news while the Dems decide her fate. The campaign waged so far is campground compared to what it will be to eventually sit in the Oval Office, likened to the taking of the beach at Normandy.
A white cleric is “used” in his former church to up the ante in a black and white storm that is far from over, across America for “We, The People”, and Hussein Obama. Obama’s White trash campaigners are behind this with some pretty pathetic politics. Obama tries to make a statement for the Black people left behind, through this White pastor who uses the bully pulpit to shove the white race voice out of this election entirely, calling and blaming whites pathetic, for the Black man’s station in life. It’s “Lilies of the Field” starring Barack Obama, instead of Sidney Poitier.
Obama spent 20 years being mentored by his Black pastor who married him and baptized his kids and now says, “I am not what I have been nor what I am today.” This little charade played to the voters using a white man in his former church so he could denounce the church once and for all (?) was for what? Yet still, not to abandoned the church lay people, the disenfranchised black folk sitting in the pews, the entire charismatic Black choir? “I am leaving the church but I am still with you,” is Barack’s cry.
I truly believe that when the political levers are dropped, Barack is going to look around and say in November what happened? I thought they knew me?” The White Protestant voters, Baptist, yes even the Methodists will say, depart from me you worker of iniquity, I never knew you! You have forgotten the first rule of caring, which is bearing the burden of others.
You see families who are going to the polls for Barack Obama are concerned about the problems of their children because the children’s problems are a nuisance to them rather than a burden. It’s what Barack represents to White America. If Obama could only see the hurt people in his church and America as a whole, because right now the white race is a nuisance to him politically. He is concerned about the problems of his former church, only because of what it does to his church’s Black reputation, not because he hurts with them. If he could see the hurt people in his church and the poor suffering of America, and I mean, the spiritually sick as a cancer, or economic poverty as a sickness in his own body, he wouldn’t throw a hand grenade at the Black or White races hardly as quickly as he would go and seek to restore them and bring them into a whole America. Right now he only knows self-centered fondness. “As long as you don’t disappoint me, I’ll like you if you vote and donate to me.” This is the Senator’s slick style.
Now what I would like to do at this very moment is run out there and grab him by the lapel or shoulder and look him right in the face and ask him, “Do you know him? God is not a respecter of persons or skin color, but you are. You talk about problems and crises throughout the world. The pressure comes and the world begins to attack. Death is a problem isn’t it? Pain, suffering, separation, criticism and persecution, not being appreciated, they’re problems, aren’t they?” The power of the Presidency is in the hands of the people; that power you have not ...yet.”
Many of his followers are kidding themselves if they try and tell themselves he has this power. Many intellectuals of the left are trying to psych themselves into believing that he does. And yet they know full well he doesn't have it and the world knows it and that’s why the White voters, the middle class, the poor, the working farmers, the Rebels in the South and North, yes even those Blacks whom you think are with him, do not stand in awe of him at all ... or anymore. They, the real black and white voting America, not the lawyers, believe him to be a phony. That’s the truth of it.
May 29, 2008 - As Navy Midshipmen, Senator McCain knows what a ship does and the meaning, “floundering at sea.” His candidacy leaves so much to the imagi-nation especially when Americans are still looking for a statesman. If there had been television during FDR’s presidency he would have never gotten elected as a man seen in a wheelchair. McCain’s age hurts him especially when viewed through a television lens where he walks along shaking hands with supporters and his entire upper torso shakes while doing it.
Five years as a POW in an Hanoi water cage being subjected to torture and abuse has taken toll on this man’s body and mind. His judgement and recent remarks about being transparent with Congress, not unlike the British Parliament, calls into question sound constitutional government under his leadership. I like John McCain very much but not as my President standing alone. His choice for V. P. will definitely go a long way in determining the closeness of the November election. How can he not choose Romney? Senator McCain gave George Bush a big bear hug in a picture you’ve seen many times. As McCain gets deeper into the campaign, his ties to the Bush presidency becomes more political, for Bush’s coattails are ideal for a man sliding on his butt. McCain has no where to go but down unless of course, he can right his own ship and choose wisely the future President of the United States four years from today.
The office of the Presidency of the United States where Americans love the idea of someone who can come in, take charge and say what they are going to do, even when they sometimes don’t mean it. Lying is still an art among politicians who want to be elected. Yet it is in the President’s nature seen by voters having innate qualities of decency and common good in the personality and a toughness intellectually, being firm also with common sense. Unfortunately, often times the president’s nature can only be measured by the media reporting such. However, discernment among voters can not be diminished nor dismissed in choosing the aura around such a candidate.
The President’s faces on Mount Rushmore and what they represented is what Americans still believe in and hope for. An aging white man with a trophy wife, a black condescending, seen hypocritical at times upstart with a boisterous help mate, and a losing female who should have slapped the hell out of her husband more than once, do not make the grade. The choosing of a Vice-President for either party is critical to determine the future of America. We need a “tall ship” candidate for sailing murky and troubled waters. Because right now a “White Squall” is about to hammer America.
Memorial Day 2008 - The political words, “change has to start from the bottom up” is a good one, yet it has nothing to do with the “change’ in Washington. It starts at the seat of the pants for America as a whole. The change needed begins at home under the tutelage of mother and dad. It isn’t about digging a root cellar or stocking up firewood or planting apple and pear trees for the coming revolution where government falls flat and terrorism becomes the norm. Although it could happen, the real revolution is right there in your living room among your kids and your significant other.
Kids for a very long time now have enjoyed telling mom and dad what to to do and when to do it. Corporal punishment was thrown out with the baby’s bath water sometime ago when a kid out west sued his parents for slapping the hell out of him. He got it right across the mouth for a smart aleck answer. After the kid won the lawsuit for all bratty kids, those parents now run their kids around to soccer matches, band rehearsals, and kid’s overnighters with their friends. Dad, in this new age, is relegated to pushing the baby stroller so mommy can party, so mommy can mess around. When kids didn’t get their way in school, they resorted to violence with guns against authority there as well. No, is not the answer they wanted to hear. The kid with the dope in the back-seat of his car is the only one who says, “yes, I’ll help, let be be your friend?”
Today’s kids have upped the ante in their rebellion by desecrating their bodies with tattoos and piercing(s) they will regret when sagging and wrinkles take hold. The days of making a circle in the dirt and challenging the neighborhood marble champ to a duel is long over. Once a kid reaches the age of thirteen, he has a new car, three hundred dollars in his pocket, new duds, and a mobile phone. His question at the ripe old age of 18, much like Elvis at age 30 asked when he presumably had it all, “what else is there?
What else indeed. Parents need to get hold of their kids and right around the throat would be appropriate. Kids today need to listen and be a big picture seen, not heard. It’s difficult for a young man to get married at an early age because he is expected to become an instant father and husband. The wife is never clear about her role when leadership is lacking among the alpha males. Every woman in America needs and desires to be married to a German Shepherd not a Pekinese. If you don’t believe me ask her.
Now in college many of these kids continue their rampage of destroying home life by embracing gays and lesbians as their friends so that future generations can now have a choice of two fathers or two mothers. Reproduction however of bratty kids are going to be a problem. Queer sex depends on heterosexual unions for "family" status. They cannot continue with their lifestyle unless they can get to our children. It amazes me! Why does anyone need money or support to be homosexual? I am heterosexual. No one gave me money or support for that? It just comes natural."
Kids may decide to travel in the opposite direction on a freeway belt and they may get to their destination, but it is still wrong. We need change alright, more like an awakening! I say bring back the strap. For you kids that haven’t decided which parent is the father or mother in the home, it’s called “the belt.” It’s used from the bottom up.
May 23, 2008 - The days of bottled water are just about over. Purification rigged around the sink at home is going to be the answer now that gasoline is going to top $4.00 a gallon. Every way you can downsize and continue enjoying life is what is on taps for all of us. $40.00 dollars a month for bottled water is now going in the gas tank. And while we’re at it throw a rug on the door because “We the people” are just about ready to take the gas pipe.
With global warming as an fuel for the Democrats, who is now the “great green left” instead of, just the “red left”, will use Al Gore’s only legacy as an excuse for the proposal that government can know the future of America, and thus control how the future unfolds.” It is the left’s agenda. Communal living is on the rise with this group, and in their words, it is “all for the common good.” Your choices as Americans will be limited. The left’s hostility to the golden calf, GMC, is a bicycle, “people going wherever they want whenever they want.” Their government wants to control everything, global salvation for America. Hallelujah! The Democratic Party wants to wear out their welcome in your home, reach into your pocket, grab hold and you won’t have a say in it.
You elect the elitist Obama and he no more cares about your values than the Democrats who control Congress. He should have focused on substance after the Oregon, Kentucky split, not try to say, “look at me, I’m ahead.” Since his big speech he’s the most condescending man in America on the political stage. It isn’t that America is ignorant of this man, voters just keep talking when they should be listening and reading about this particular black man who wants to be our president. Hey, he made the word “black” an issue in this campaign, not me. Obama can not put Hillary away for the simple reason he does not have the popular vote nor the bigger states in terms of delegates. Hillary may be forced on him as his V.P.
McCain needs Romney more than ever when it comes to the northern states. The working class knows that Romney has a great economic pencil. Romney gives the spark to McCain’s candidacy, from an old look that transcends Bush and war. Besides it unites the Republican base. The days of a vice-president lying down on the job is over, this is the new millennium, Dick Cheney changed the way we think of a V. P.’s role. Yet if McCain chooses a nobody, and I mean a Crist from Florida, adios amigo. Or I should say, buenos dias to 12,000,000 illegals dipping into your social security retirement fund. Welcome voters to, “pessimism, license to intrude and comprehensive rationing.” So much for a politician having a way with words.
May 20, 2008 - “Ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country!” Greatest sound bite ever delivered by one man, who was a charismatic figure, polished, nattily dressed and articulate in manner and poise. Same can be said for Barack Obama.
Che Guevara symbolism, Black Liberation Theology and 20 years under a Pastor mentoring Obama in church, preaching 1960’s black power, are reasons not to vote for this young astute Senator trying hard to be all things to all men except to those voters who just don’t believe him as a person, but he knows, we know he wished he could take back “his words” about many episodes that were in the media ...and ultimately words he is responsible for. I am not talking about speeches either. I am talking about a manner in which he can be held accountable.
He can say Don Imus does not belong on television who uttered remarks about “nappy headed ho’s”, yet allow his pastor to say “typical white race”, and have Che Guevarra’s picture on his Houston campaign walls. Whether or not he wears an American Flag lapel pin is immaterial which to my way of thinking, is like waving a flag out of your car window anyway, who cares. Yet if John McCain were to say, “typical black man” then what? The Rainbow coalition raises its ugly head, Sharpton, the ACLU, the whole enchilada. Barack can not have it both ways and appease the America voters.
You can buy Che Guevarra T shirts in any “American Eagle Outfitters Store” but they are no less American for selling them than I am. So what’s the point? The point is, each of these alone are not enough to condemn the man, but when you add all of them up together; a father who was a Muslim married to a white woman who sent his son to a Muslim school in Indonesia, a white grandmother he said, was afraid of black people when she boarded a bus, a middle name of “Hussein” and all the innuendoes he is about, Barack Obama may very well lose a squeaker of an election because the voters are not fooled by social mannerisms nor by the company he “kept”. It may not happen this time around for Democrats ...to have their own President.
Even so, for many Americans, they can not be bought with a $1,200 rebate check, love for country is not for sale and we do love our Presidents even though they appear ridiculous, ill informed and ill advised. This pandering, especially war and fear mongering by McCain and Bush at this late hour is totally and completely out of line telling Americans we are ignorant about what is going on in the world. I am surprised they haven’t taken our computers away just for the mere fact Osama Bin Laden uses one to transmit his messages to the world. We can expect something like that out of Dick Cheney’s mouth ... a V.P. that should have been seen in eight years as an ambassador of goodwill, failed in his office as well.
With all the things that are against Barack Barry Hussein Obama, those things Americans hold, “that these truths are self evident”, how can this one man with the “audacity of hope”, win the White House? John McCain is going to get older by the minute though, as McCain refuses to distance himself from George Bush. The presidency of George Bush is a drain on the American consciousness and pocket book.
May 19, 2008 - I am sure you have heard the expression that more is less? But that’s only in the golf swing not in life. If you begin looking around and I don’t mean gas signs on the side of roadways, you’ll find a number of people working in different job positions across the country. There are less postal workers, less secretaries, shortages of food, airplane inspectors, tax collectors, passenger screeners and Social Security claims representatives. I could go on but I will stop right here. It’s called a “government meltdown” and it’s coming to the White House and will fall in the lap of the new president.
Americans should stop pretending that the federal government can succeed without an immediate infusion of the resources to do its job. $25 billion dollars is a quite of bit of dough uncollected for unpaid taxes. Want to be a tax collector? It will certainly help the unemployment rate.
You see without expanding the above scenarios there are these topics the media and candidates running for office fail to address. Politicians only want to get elected. They don’t have to know anything upstairs where a light is on and nobody is home.
When the President of the United States goes to Arab countries and has to ask for more gas with lower pricing and is turned down, this is part of the whole, in a government meltdown. And then after you are turned down, you insult all those Middle Easterners by asking them to change their way of life by exchanging their wardrobe from sheets and rags for headgear, for cheap Brooks Brothers suits. You can tell what sort of guy he is by the clothes he wears, but clothes don’t make the man or a country a democracy. Even golfers dress to the nines, usually 10 strokes above their pledged handicaps to make you think they actually play better than they do. Yet proof is in the pudding. While the Arabs are sticking it to us over the Summer with the pudding, John McCain is the elephant on his hunches getting it from behind by a rhinoceros. For most Americans you can take your federal tax holiday along with the $1,200 tax rebate and stick it. Where (?) is the optimum word.
The message from the Midwesterners to McCain was sent by my old friend. It’s all about that pudding I mentioned.
May 14, 2008 - Eliminating the Pledge of Allegiance is not the answer, especially in Minnesota schools. It’s not even a good idea. Since when do children tell adults what to do, especially teachers? Mom and dad are still doing a lousy job at home training and raising up their kids. The school paddle used to be outspoken but not anymore. One ass whipping right on the seat of their pants is a huge step in correcting the problem and it begins at home.
The ACLU comes along, threatens the schools with lawsuits on a parent’s consent, and thus begins the long hard road sending the wrong messages not only to their kids but other kids as well, and now who’s in charge? A kid goes through life with a lack of respect for authority, a flawed character and his integrity is so diminished, that when he becomes an adult he is sequestered in his own select group and is judged by the company he keeps. And it ain’t good.
Senator Barack Obama certainly doesn’t see the necessity to place his hand over his heart or to recite the POA. Why not? This is a guy who wants to be commander-in-chief of our armed forces? His loyalties seem to be diminished for his own well being and his own sequestered group of followers. Where is his loyalty to God and country? His own wife in Michelle’s words, “for the first time in my adult life I can be really be proud of America” comes back to haunt us. She learned nothing about America in her youth, except learning to be afraid of the white race just like Reverend Wright who preached ‘Black Liberation”. married she and Barack, and baptized her kids. She’s just proud that her Black husband “is running”, not can run or is able to run ...in such a great country.
The POA helps us to keep constantly in our minds and hearts the spiritual and moral principles which alone give dignity to men, women, children, and upon which our way of life is founded.” Parents are morally corrupt and are not able to transmit this one ideal to their kids.
The Pledge of Allegiance is a strong demand requiring immigrants to know where their loyalties are to be aligned if they wish to participant in the American way of life. 116 years ago, henceforth, this Pledge has been the hallmark of this great country, as well as the connotation “people governing this nation.” This individual pledge reminds us of our dedication of all our worldly goods, our love and devotion to America and its flag. The Flag is our standard, Old Glory is a symbol of freedom. And freedom is everybody’s job. Pride, dignity, purpose, and love for country. It sounds kind of corny, but it works and speaks volumes about the history of America. Teach this in the classroom. The ACLU needs to stay out of our schools and parents lives, because it’s NOT their blue print.
May 13, 2008 -- “Frame every so-called disaster with these words: 'In five years, will it matter?”
“God loves you because of whom God is, not because of anything you did or didn't do.”
“If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else's, we'd grab ours back?” Probably.
“Just once in this cockamamie world I wish we had some good news much like the French do with their economy. You have two cows. You go on strike because you want three cows. You go to lunch and drink wine. Life is good.” For those in Minnesota Crown Royal will do.
“In just one year. Remember the election in 2006 that put the Democrats in charge of both the House and the Senate?” “A little over one year ago:
1) Consumer confidence stood at a 2 1/2 year high;
2) Regular gasoline sold for $2.19 a gallon;
3) The unemployment rate was 4.5%.”
Since voting in a Democratic Congress in 2006 we have seen:
1) Consumer confidence plummets; Yeah, whatever happen to “Made In America?”
2) The cost of regular gasoline soar to over $3.50 a gallon; wait until hits five dollars, then you really will have something to complain about!
3) Unemployment is up to 5% (a 10% increase); Thank the advances of the computer and the Internet for this.
4) American households have seen $2.3 trillion in equity value evaporate (stock and mutual fund losses); This has been happening for years.
5) Americans have seen their home equity drop by $1.2 trillion dollars; but ... we are talking between $400,000 and $600,000 homes not high price homes which are still pushing the market!
6) 1% of American homes are in foreclosure.” Many of these would have foreclosed anyway but got in on the ground floor of fraud with the sub-prime mortgage business.
“America voted for change in 2006, and we got it!” Remember, it's Congress that makes law not President Bush. He has to work with what's handed to him. Although Bush was a President who never got close to his people, he wasn’t a motivator like FDR, JFK or even BHO. George stuttered and stammered, and twanged his way through office. His accent was all Texas including his message. He was belittled, befuddled and certainly damned enough times you wondered and asked yourself, ”Is this indeed my president?”
We are in mess and McCain isn’t the answer. If McCain goes after Tim Pawlenty as V.P. choice, who is the current governor of Minnesota, we have a chance to solve some hard issues; even Romney would be just as good. But Pawlenty won’t hurt the ticket especially a governor who will trade a cap on property taxes for all Minnesotans; in exchange; Pawlenty would approve the Central Corridor Rail Line between St. Paul and Minneapolis. The governor knows how to deal with the liberal democratic base in the state. Especially this state’s politicians who love to tax and spend. It’s a win win for everybody in the Twin-Cities area and we need some of his style in the White House. The problem is we will have to wait four more years just to get anybody that resembles a statesman in the Oval Office.
Dateline America, weekend report May 10-11 - Let me get my “racial epithets” out of the way before the long surge begins between a White man and a Black man in the presidential contest.
First we begin with Keith Ellison, Muslim politician from Minnesota. He decided to have a one on one with the Arab Nations during a closed interview television hookup to discuss the diversity, tolerance, and inclusive of race in America. He didn’t speak for me nor does he speak for most Americans. The conversation should be about the Arabs and their terrorists partners over tolerance certainly, but how they have driven out every other kind of specie except their own. The Arabs understand that it all began thousands of years before. The Arabs could have said, the relationship white voters have with Barack Obama is that we all came from Noah’s family. You know all of our ancestors were on the Ark. This point of reference however stops right there. At that time, there was one cultural group, and one language. Then the flood came and along came Babel. Trouble in spades.
What happens at Babel once separate languages were imposed, there were instantaneous barriers. Not only would people tend not to marry someone they couldn't understand, but entire groups which spoke the same language would have difficulty relating to and trusting those which did not.
This is the heart of the voters in this November election. Trusting and speaking the same language with voters is a problem Barack Obama is having because as you know, words matter. Thus, those at Babel would move away or be forced away from each other, into different environments. This, of course, is what God intended.
“Pygmies live in a hot area, but rarely experience strong sunshine in their dense jungle environment; yet they have dark skin. Pygmies may be a good example of another factor that has affected the racial history of man: discrimination. In fact, most “primitive” tribes still have a memory, in their folklore and religion, of the fact that their ancestors turned away from the living God, the Creator.” And boy howdy, do the Christian Right have a memory. Jesus Christ, God's reconciliation in the face of man's rejection of the Creator, is the only truth that can set men and women of every culture, technology, people group, or color truly free. And we know Barack, “Barry’ prays to Jesus every night.
Hillary might be the only VP choice Obama has in order to bring racial stability back to the country. It’s going to be interesting to see Obama’s choice for the office and don’t be surprised as we have said for many months, it’s hers if she decides to take it. She has the white vote among blue collars and he has the poor uneducated whites and southern black vote. And of course he has the intellectual left liberal red vote as well. Nothing like diversity over a cup of black coffee. Unless of course you use milk.
May 07, 2008 - Don’t cry for me Argentina is a song celebrating the “heart, the soul, the nerve, and the reality of the Obama voters.” Even Eva Perrone would be proud. The cult voters have become “the center of Obama’s own vast personality, his image and name that will soon appear everywhere, even in train stations. These dazzling months have been so successful for Barack that he has immersed body, soul, and spirit into the people, turning public political life into show business. Senator Obama has become a deity in the new world pantheon of electric celebrity.”
Hillary Clinton and the legacy for her husband has all been spoiled. She may fight on but to no avail.
Senator’s Clinton’s campaign had white hope where no hope abounds. Her husband strategized, but the chess pieces to capture King Obama didn’t materialize. The Black voters are finally having their say. This is how it should be validating their cry, “The South shall rise again!” Boy and howdy!
American voters do not like to be wrong and putting Barack Obama in the White House is just a matter of time. You may not like it but who is going to stop him? McCain, you’re kidding right. He couldn’t win Minnesota, remember? And of course the Twin-Cities is where the National Republican convention is to be held. It would have been better for the convention sites of both parties to switch locations. This is the home of the powerful Democratic Farm Labor Party, the ACLU representing the gathering of war protesters here, who will drum it into us about McCain’s sound bite of a “100 years in Iraq” moniker. It’s a chain around his neck with this loaded weight, as the rustling, cracking ice of 10,000 lakes in Minnesota calls him from the wild. The “old grey mare” will be brought out as a symbol of reconciliation for McCain’s service as a war veteran and hero of Viet-Nam. Blah, blah, blah.
May 06, 2008 - The real story now, about this election, is what is there to write about that hasn’t been covered at ad nauseum? How long do you spin the story of each candidate. Senator McCain better enjoy the freedom of traveling and campaigning against no one because in just about a month, he will have some explaining to do. Hard questions to answer and can’t look like a chicken with his head cut off. The economy goes no where under McCain’s watch. Zilch. Handling the war is his biggest asset and ally.
This business of lowering gas prices and diesel fuel for truckers are extremely important in turning this economy. It will be sigh of relief and a breath of fresh air. What politician doesn’t understand that?! There is also a plan if you will recall what I wrote a couple days ago about price gouging at the service stations who sit on each corner of a block and every price index on each of their boards is different?
The Federal Trade Commission will indeed investigate and regulate possible market manipulation by the oil companies. Manipulation? Boy is that rich. Just watch the pumps slowly come down now. First, we are all in this together. Second, this is no shell game as Obama would have you believe about Clinton-McCain proposals about eliminating federal gas taxes. Can we do more is what he should have said. There is no disruption as we speak anywhere on the globe for oil supply and the U. S. demand is down. So what’s the problem? Is it because “highfalutin” looting individuals are in the way? Are we still blaming President Bush for this? Who has the pipeline into the boardrooms to the oil companies?
Gee, you mean the pipelines that were broken, as well as the Katrina pipe lines that have now been restored, you just forgot to tell us and forgot to lower the gas prices? Oh, they were soaring out of sight? The profits were, Ok. You were absent minded? LOWER THE GAS PRICES now that we all understand. Europeans may like spending $5.00 plus for a gallon of gas these last few years. This is America. It’s not that we feel entitled, we just ...know better.
May 01, 2008 - Houston we still have a problem. “We have be criticized for many years as being “arrogant.” That charge is valid in at least one respect. We are arrogant in that we believe that we are so good, powerful and smart, that we can win the hearts and minds of all those who attack us, and that with both hands tied behind our back, we can defeat anything bad in the world! We can't! If we don't recognize this, our nation as we know it will not survive, and no other free country in the world will survive if we are defeated.” “And finally, name any Muslim countries throughout the world that allow freedom of speech, freedom of thought, freedom of religion, freedom of the press, equal rights for anyone -- let alone everyone, equal status or any status for women, or that have been productive in one single way that contributes to the good of the world” How can history books be written or read with the Muslims in charge. They couldn’t handle a cartoon which was supposed to be funny. Muslims to not handle funny well. This is a distinct problem different than all the other problems and issues we face here in America. If we can get sidetracked into economy issues and gasoline prices, we might as well start all over at ground zero and 911. The issues are important to be solved but asleep we mustn’t be ever again, always being vigilant with a candle always lit. Our enemies believe we are the plastic people with swimming pools in every backyard.
Keith Ellison is a Muslim and in Congress and took his oath of office on the Koran. You might say no big deal. It is a big deal. But you say he’s a nice fellow, I say in time you’re going to wish you never met him. You say I’m a pessimist. No I’m telling you the truth. If we have to wait and see on all of these types of individuals and problems with sects and immigrants failing assimilation, and do nothing then what? Ellison was a man who hood winked Nancy Pelosi in a photo op to take her picture with him, while she placed her hands on the Qurans own by Thomas Jefferson. Ellison thought it was cute and used it on his constituency in Minneapolis to show it was no big deal. It was manipulation. The truth of the matter is that Jefferson had the books to read and wanted to learn about Muslims only on how to defeat them in Tripoli and free American slaves. They were pirates then and they are pirates now. They threatened the very existence of Christianity today and a way of life as you and I know it. Jefferson's victory over the Muslims lives on today in the Marine Hymn, with the line, "From the halls of Montezuma, to the shores of Tripoli, We fight our country's battles in the air, on land and sea." I didn’t just make this up, go read it for yourself! The American Marines crossed the desert from Egypt into Tripoli to defeat what Jefferson called the ”medium of war” against the Muslims. During the Jefferson administration, the Muslim Barbary States, crumbling as a result of intense American naval bombardment and on shore raids by Marines, finally officially agreed to abandon slavery and piracy.
Both of these presidential hopefuls on the same ticket against John McCain will be his worst nightmare. Once euphoria sets in USA wide, Senator McCain’s theme, “We will be in Iraq for a hundred years” will begin to sound like the “Arabian tales of marvels and wonders of a thousand and one nights.” Hillary and Barack won’t admit that our military may be in Iraq longer than they actually know. Why don’t they just say it? Then we could all move on to the next hard issue. You see in many instances and around the water cooler, if Bill Clinton hadn’t put his weenie where it didn’t belong, we still see visions dancing in our head of a well healed economy.
Weekend report - Apr 26-27, 2008 - "I got ten forward gears, and a Georgia overdrive. I'm taking little white pills, and my eyes are open wide. I just passed a 'Jimmy' and a 'White'! I've been passin' everything in sight! Six days on the road and I'm gonna make it home tonight."
And the trucker is hauling for America. Our goods are passing over state lines. All day and night Mary Ann, America on the move. He keeps a schedule like nobody knows. He’s always on time and he’s never late. He’s the guy you want to follow in a fog bank across the plains of North Dakota. He sleeps in an 8 x 10 cubicle behind the gear box and drinks the best coffee at Mom’s cafe. The truckers are hell bent for leather, but when they cinch up they’re all business...for America.
And John McCain wants to eliminate the federal tax of 18 cents from the gas pump over Labor day weekend. Are you still under water or what? If the President of the United States, where there is a distinction of his office as being the most powerful individual in the free world, who can settle an airline strike overnight, are you telling me you can’t give the truckers of America a definitive reduction of fuel costs to not only help them but help move our economy? The truckers deserve your respect, don’t insult them.
If the gas prices for American motorists won’t change then I plead for American truckers hauling goods to every neighborhood, farm, rinky dink town and metropolitan areas throughout this great land. The prices truckers are paying for diesel is staggering and because this is one of those where Americans will be paying more for everything except the Chinese and Viet-Nam stuff at Wal-Mart. In Lund’s Market in Minneapolis, Minnesota at their specialty cheese counter, a thin slick of cheese will start at $6.00 and I am talking about one sandwich here. Bottled water on a golf course is $2.50 and that’s the small size. A bottle of beer sitting down at the bar is $3.76 which includes tax. A glass of wine is $12.00 and that’s the cheap stuff. Milk, eggs, bacon, staples for school kids, those damn tomatoes, all going up. Yeah let’s just bleed those truckers!
And since when do we allow price gouging by four different gas stations on each corner or just up the block in any fair town where all of them have different price indexes on their billboards? Is our government stupid or what? Not too long ago it was against the law, federal and state.
A little mis-direction and this country doesn’t know what hole the cue ball is going in...right Senator? We have a lot of work to do and mess to clean up, behind a government who hasn’t done a thing. And Americans will speak loud and clear come election time!
How about it Mc-Bush, for the truckers, lower, at least their gas prices?
"I.C.C. is checking on down the line. I'm a little overweight and my log's three days behind. But nothing bothers me tonight! I can dodge all the scales all right! Six days on the road and I'm gonna make it home tonight."
April 25, 2008 - The United States Senate Committee on Armed Services needs to investigate the raw data and documentation of actual suicides in the military serving in combat as well as those serving stateside. There are bald headed authors selling books and loud mouth media people who have decided to lay waste to what military consciousness we have about our fighting men and women of the armed forces. I don’t like the idea of anyone making money on dead soldiers coming home in flag draped coffins. I like them even less when they say 12,000 have committed suicide from both wars in Afghanistan and Iraq and have no proof to back those statements up. It’s the numbers I question not that there haven’t been suicides, there have been. We need the facts on the thousands of military that the media and individuals say have died from suicides. I say prove it. By God I mean prove it ASAP. This is one for the ages that Congress needs to investigate and provide documents, a paper trail, given to the American people as proof.
Here’s the reason: There are signs that the America mainstream, seem to be willing to accept some communism in these last few war years, if only as a curiosity. The far left, off the page, are motivated doing this kind of underhanded verbosity. For instance. it’s this type of slander... and I am quoting:
“American soldiers are murderers who desire to rape, murder, torture and pillage without fear of retribution. This is mainly what motivates soldiers and contractors who sign up over and over for a tour in Iraq. Just listen in to them talking over beers, or look over their trophy sites where they display their body part collections. Sit quietly and overhear their conversations on a Greyhound bus, near a military base, doing your best to disguise your disgust. Fear of terrorists. Even though the odds of being harmed by a terrorist are much lower than drowning in your bathtub, many Americans have a panic-stricken fear of terrorists.”
They spin their disgusting yarns to undermine America, our government and military. As flawed as all of these are they’re ours. Their strategy...and I am quoting:
“Let’s find some lowly vets who have recently returned from Iraq. Get them on TV. Get them to address your local club. Failing that invite them to you home to talk to your friends to learn first hand about what happened in Iraq.” And finally they say, “there is no bravery in war.” My blood boils and so should yours.
This suicide business needs to be top priority for Congress in ruling out lies or finding, and embracing the real truths about our veterans of war and how each died. For those who actually committed suicide, our hearts go out to those families. All of us that have served in the theatre of wars have asked, why would anyone sign up, the pay is terrible? Why indeed. If you don’t know I don’t have an answer for you.
Gore Vidal wrote, “As societies grow decadent, the language grows decadent, too. Words are used to disguise, not to illuminate, action: you liberate a city by destroying it. Words are to confuse, so that at election time people will solemnly vote against their own interests.”
April 24, 2008 - Christian Science Monitor not known for sensationalizing anything in print decided to after all, telling everyone how neat it is to pay federal income tax. Ha! Boy they are rich! Walter Rodgers writes, “Genuine patriots don’t complain about their patriotic obligations,” referring to paying taxes as a true American. “It seems it is one of the burdens of life we must face in our society.” (sigh) You’re telling us, you whimp!
I don’t have to prove my patriotism by paying more taxes that are more favorable or less than any other country. This is America. No other place like it on the globe. The tax system needs to change dramatically to something that seems to be fair for everyone. We’re not there yet. There is no hope until change comes about through a tax revolt of the American taxpayer. Politicians are slow to act when the U. S. budget constitutes 42% support from its tax base paid by American taxpayers. But when a country is over 9 trillion in debt where foreigners get 28% of it, this is a problem. 18.5 million are on welfare. And if any man is on these rolls, he’s a deadbeat!
For support of paying taxes, Rodgers reveals that even Oliver Wendell Holmes said, “Taxes are what we pay for living in a civilized society.” It was a great year Walter, for you to cite Holmes who died in 1894! Imagine what he might say today, Wally... he might say...
Let me tell you something. We are paying the limit brother. When American taxpayers have to fund two wars, kids in college, illegal immigrants, planned parenthood, where medicare prices and prescription drugs are out of whack, trying to rob baby boomers of social security and medicare, taxing pennies at the gas pump, plus high gas prices over $4.00 for ethel today, hell no we don’t want to pay! We will...but you should be kissing our ass while we’re doing it. We are getting screwed! I feel better already.
Bush’s government is in trouble with Americans and has been for some time. What has he done to deserve our respect and support? He rented the White house from us and trashed it in eight years. Cheney’s remarks about America’s complaints come with his old familiar answer of, “So what”. And you ask us to vote another Republican into office in November besides? This is an election year, so if this is a joke, American voters are not laughing. If John McCain thinks he can walk into the White House on Bush’s coattails with the same old BS, he better replace his campaign strategist now. McCain is going to need a makeover and real fast. His goodbye line will be, “an old former POW with a trophy wife.” I kid you not.
Here’s something else for the Pope, who visited Washington this week, and spoke about the Latino community staying involved with the Catholic Church without referring to our immigration problem: “Don’t forget to pay your taxes. MUCHAS GRACIAS! 21 MILLION ILLEGALS ARE DEPENDING ON YOU!!”
Barack Obama is a gush of a spiritual charismatic uprising that you get in church with cymbals and tambourines. They are hollow and made of tin. The “Tin Man” is about to go forth without a heart. The heart of America. “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” is the finishing song characterizing his Lincoln speech on race that hurt him. Guns, roses and God hurt him in PA. Words do matter. He has read the material front and backwards and his staff has done an admirable grassroots approach reading everything on the internet and listening to the gab on CNN. Yet, he chose to turn those words on Americans who are disillusioned with the issues they want solved. He thought it would be a good idea to tell them that they were all wet! But this is America and we will not be fooled by a conspiracy of well thought out words. The ghosts of voters long ago will be selecting the next President in the fall election. I believe as NBC’s Tom Brokaw said, “they are from 1957.”
Weekend report 4/19-20/08 - The movie “Hud” starring Paul Newman was a good one. Farm life and farm animals. Plenty of cows and steer manure. Right out of the pages of Will Rogers. A nefarious son who tries to sell Mexican cows to his neighbors after discovering that the herd had the disease (BSE) only to be stopped by a father who told him, “your an unscrupulous man, Hud.” All the farm animals were eventually destroyed. A hard lesson in hard times. It wasn’t just a movie, it’s now being played out all over America in real life. The dinner table isn’t quite what it used to be. The slogan, “where’s the beef” is now four words, “where’s the safe beef?”
Mad cow disease, once you get it as a human, it kills, by causing your brain to disintegrate within 10 years causing death and dementia. Two people died in Madrid, Spain from eating tainted meat in the last three months. How much have we eaten and whose responsible? What state? What governor? What rancher? What farmer? Even the auctioneer is implicated.
BSE, bovine spongiform encephalopathy. We have talked about it here until we’re blue in the face. There was a time when no cases were diagnosed in this country. That has all changed. No U. S. government agency will admit to the number of cases in the United States. The total number of human cases in England reported in 2008 stands at 163 and climbing. One statistical analysis published in 2003 estimated that the number of additional future deaths from the disease in humans in England would likely be somewhere between 10 and 2,600. The British made this mistake, reassuring the public that beef was safe to eat, and their people and especially British farmers paid a heavy price. We can expect no less here. It’s unfortunate unless Congress is fully transparent with the public on this issue. We can not afford to be lied to. No compromises. This shouldn’t even be an argument. Even in Britain, the country most affected by mad cow disease, inspections showed that it was impossible to enforce a feed ban.
In the great state of Minnesota, Governor Tim Pawlenty announced this month the emergency funding which “will be used to depopulate infected cattle herds, which is crucial to prevent the spread of the disease and to indemnify producers. The funding also will be used for enhanced surveillance; not only to identify affected herds but also to determine the source of infection. This enhanced surveillance will include free ranging white-tailed deer in Minnesota and Michigan, a possible route of transmission for the disease. Cattle herds located in the newly expanded Management Zone will be required to obtain movement certificates and individually TB-test most animals before moving them off the premises. Producers must have an official risk assessment to assess the interaction between deer and cattle. In addition, herds located in this area must have an annual whole herd test. The State of Minnesota will demonstrate that they have adequate measures in place to control livestock movements.” The governor’s signature on a bill passed by the legislature will go a long way to indemnify losses by cattle ranchers who may have to slaughter their herds.
Can other states do less? No one wants to destroy entire herds of cattle or animals in general because livestock owner’s life’s work and income can be destroyed immediately. Many deer-hunters and officials in Wisconsin DNR are trying to make it all a laughing matter. Yet these are unscrupulous men doing nothing. Cures, for what ails ya? Our future health depends on it. It depends on good men doing the right thing for all of us.
Keep a rollin’, rollin’, rollin’, though the streams are swollen, keep them doggies movin’...
April 17, 2008 - A country that can’t get along with other countries, a President of this country that can’t get along with it’s people, where so-called Christians can’t get along with other Christians sitting right next to each other in the same pew. Where a man in Minnesota said to me today, “if you want to find the best fishing spots on the lake look for niggers and the Chinese. They know the best fishing spots.” It’s ugly and demeaning but a direct quote. An affluent white man using the slur, was clearly a man that had come so far but wasn’t willing to let anyone of color get where he was. At least not in his lifetime. It’s a cancer in man’s nature that has yet to be cut out. Obama raises the point very well.
It’s a shame really when union work as a carpenter starts at $69 an hour and beyond. If the labor union was responsible for building one measly main highway in any city, it would cost $25,000,000. Unions sit around and complain, wondering why there’s no work? Because the other guy is getting half that for the same work. Good for him and to hell with the labor unions who won’t compromise or cooperate with homeowners, businesses or city managers over costs of doing business.
Private enterprise needs to take over roads and highways from state government who can’t or won’t get anything done because of party pettiness. Imagine how many millions of workers in this country could be put to work each and everyday, knowing highways, roads and bridges needing repair, would be a work lasting a lifetime? Highwaymen could rank right up there with policemen, fire-fighters and medical personnel for job security. Nobody, no man would need to be homeless.
State governments who can not control spending shouldn’t ask for taxpayers to pay for any shortfalls. Clearly the property taxes need to be rolled back. We don’t care if the state or federal government lose money, we are tired of giving. No more money for infrastructure in Iraq. They need to pay us back in oil reserves filling U. S. Tankers bound for U.S. ports, now. No free lunches for lobbyists with earmarks to be peddled by their favorite politician. Downsize is the key word for 2008 and beyond. Live within your means, tighten your belts. Airlines, trucking firms, corporate offices are either merging or downsizing to save money and to be better efficient. If you’re homeless or you can’t make rent this month you should be scared.
The first time I set foot in Honolulu, Hawaii was in 1963. Barack Obama, the junior Senator from Illinois was two years old and lived just down the street from where I stood.
The people and what natives remained near the ocean lived a serene, unassuming existence. Beauty, flowers, wreaths of orchids, scenery unimaginable, pristine blue shorelines, from every conceivable point of reference wherever you stood or walked. And Barack Obama has the audacity to say he started his life underprivileged, suffered and rose from the ashes of heap. Really?
His life from the very beginning was not a crucifixion, on the contrary, first, he was born in Honolulu to a white Mother and a Kenyan father, who met while students attending the University of Hawaii. After his mother’s divorce, she married again, and “Barry” attended Jakarta schools in Indonesia. Barry was returned to Hawaii and raised by white grandparents.
Yet he falls into a group of people who create a seance for themselves. Bones of a past, seemingly dug up for which they are not entitled to nor belong. He believes though there is strength in numbers.
Aside from being transported around like an army brat to different regions of the world, Barry was a graduate of Columbia University and Harvard Law School. Where is the plight by which he said he suffered? I hate to tell him this, but millions of Americans have gone thought the same window of life as he has. Much more difficult than probably he can even imagine or had to endure.
I don’t like being dismissed or being spoken to in a condescending matter. His political campaign has taken on this weaver’s needle through the fabric of America. Barack Obama is descending on an America he has devised as a “total liberal America” in every aspect of life imaginable. Much like when he was growing up in Hawaii and looked around and saw all the flowers. What problems?
What guns, religion, illegal immigrant problems are you talking about? Don’t be silly.
His candidacy for President is one where there are no problems that can not be fixed. That he and he alone can fix what ails America. This loathing he has for disenchanted voters, can be placated through seminars, classroom chat rooms devised, where everybody can be happy, hip hip hooray! To his way of thinking, there should be no differences between cultures or issues that permeate our society. Let’s do it the old liberal way, having the same car in every garage and a chicken in every pot. In fact, he is against bellicose patriots such as fighting and standing up for what you believe, aggressive action is out of character.
Yet Barry is doomed to defeat and the more he tries the more despondent he will become. America Mr. Senator, is not a pretty story but it is a great story about its past, the people who made America what it is today. It was a struggle. You weren’t there. Hawaii was admitted to the Union in 1959, just two years before you were born. You are fortunate and lucky to even be a candidate for the Presidency of these United States.
April 14, 2008 - There’s a faint sound if you listen carefully, you will hear them along the Delaware River. They are not the drums accompanying the caissons at Arl
